Diving at the BREEZE Resort

Questions & Answers

Here you'll find the most important information about your dives, diving courses, diving trips, and rental equipment in Bali.

Do I need an INT adapter?

No, you don't need to bring your own regulator adapter to the Breeze Resort. Our dive center has tanks available with both DIN and INT valves, so there's no need for an additional adapter.

Does the Breeze Resort offer Nitrox?

Unfortunately, Nitrox (EAN) is not currently available at our dive center in Bali. We plan to install a Nitrox filling station in 2026. However, for an additional fee, we can already arrange for Nitrox tanks for our guests at other dive centers.

Do I need a doctor's note?

A medical certificate of fitness for diving is not generally required for diving at the Breeze Resort. However, we recommend a medical examination, especially for beginner divers, those returning to diving, or people with pre-existing medical conditions.

How thick should my wetsuit be?

The water temperature in northern Bali ranges from 27 to 29°C year-round. For most divers, a 3-mm wetsuit is therefore sufficient. However, on trips to Nusa Penida, the water can be significantly colder—even dropping below 20°C—for short periods.

What dives are available each day?

We offer two boat dives every morning, taking you to 17 exciting dive sites in the area. In addition, another boat dive is possible around 2:00 p.m. by arrangement, and we organize night dives daily right at the house reef.

What types of scuba tanks are there?

At our dive center, we use only high-quality aluminum dive tanks in 8-liter, 12-liter, and 15-liter sizes. Please note that the 15-liter tanks must be reserved in advance and incur an additional charge of €3.00 per dive.

How many dives should I have?

There are wonderful dive sites for all skill levels in the area surrounding our dive resort. Even beginners with no prior diving experience can get their first taste of the underwater world with an introductory dive or go straight into earning their diving certification (Open Water Diver course).

Can I rent diving equipment?

Yes, modern Mares rental equipment is available at the Breeze Resort. To ensure that the right size is available for you, please let us know your sizes when you book or before you arrive.

Do I need diving insurance?

Diving insurance is not required by law for diving in Bali, but it is strongly recommended for all divers. This ensures you’re as well-protected as possible against any eventualities, since many travel health insurance policies do not cover diving accidents.

What day trips are available?

In addition to the boat dives, day trips for divers to more distant highlights such as Tulamben (the USS Liberty wreck), Pemuteran, Candidasa, Nusa Penida (Manta Point), or Menjangan National Park are also available for an additional fee.

If you have any further questions about diving at Breeze Resort or would like to check our availability, just send us a message.
