Where is the Breeze North Bali Ocean Resort located?
Our stylish resort is located in the quiet northeastern part of the island, right on the ocean in the coastal town of Gretek. The well-known diving spot Tulamben is only about a 30-minute drive away, and Amed is about 40 minutes away. You can reach larger cities like Singaraja in just under an hour.
Do I need a visa to visit Bali?
You’ll need a visa for a short tourist stay in Bali. You can apply for it directly upon arrival at the airport (VOA) or in advance online as an e-visa (eVOA). You can find the most up-to-date entry requirements on the German Foreign Office’s website.
How long does the airport transfer take?
The transfer from Denpasar Airport (DPS) to the Breeze Resort usually takes about 3.5 hours. Depending on weather and traffic conditions, the route takes you either through Bali’s lush mountainous regions or along the picturesque coastline.
Can I pay with a credit card?
Yes, at the Breeze North Bali Ocean Resort, you can easily pay with your Mastercard or Visa credit card. Please note that a 2% bank fee will be charged on the amount due. Alternatively, you can also pay in cash or by bank transfer in advance.
Where is the nearest hospital?
The nearest hospital is located in Singaraja and is about a 45-minute drive from the Breeze North Bali Ocean Resort. For diving emergencies, a decompression chamber is available in Denpasar, which is about a three-hour drive away.
How do I get to Bali from Europe?
There are currently no direct flights from Europe to Bali. You can depart from nearly all major European airports. The best hubs are generally Singapore or the United Arab Emirates, with a total travel time of about 17 to 20 hours, depending on the connection.
When is the best time to visit Bali?
The best time to visit the northern part of the island is particularly from March through December. During this period, you can expect the best conditions for diving, relaxing, and exploring Bali, and the weather is generally sunny and relatively dry.
Do I need adapters for the outlets?
No, you don't need a power adapter at the Breeze North Bali Ocean Resort. Schuko outlets—the type commonly used in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland—are installed throughout the resort. You can plug in your electronic devices directly without any problems.
How far is the Breeze North Bali Ocean Resort from the ocean?
Our resort is located right on the ocean—you can reach the ocean in just a few steps from your accommodations. Our entire property is situated so that the house reef, infinity pool, and restaurant offer unobstructed views of the Bali Sea.
Is there Wi-Fi in all accommodations?
Yes, at Breeze North Bali Ocean Resort, free Wi-Fi is available in all accommodations and public areas. Whether you're staying in a villa or another type of room, you'll have internet access at all times so you can check your email or share your vacation photos.
Can I have my laundry done?
Yes, the resort offers a convenient laundry service. For a small fee, you can have your clothes washed and, if you'd like, ironed as well. That way, you can focus entirely on enjoying your vacation.
